NVVN Tenders for 19.26 MWac Ground Mounted and Rooftop Solar PV Projects in NTPC Zone 1

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) has announced a call for online bids through the Government e-procurement portal of NIC (GePNIC). The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope Basis, comprising a Techno-Commercial Bid (Envelope-I) and a Price Bid (Envelope-II).

The project involves the installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems on the rooftops of multiple buildings and land patches across various NTPC stations, townships, and other premises in NTPC Zone 1. This zone includes NTPC Ltd plants located at Kahalgaon, Barh, Farakka, Kanti, Barauni, NSTPS (Nabinagar), North Karanpura, and BRBCL (Nabinagar), situated in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

The installations will be designed to maximize energy generation, with the final plant capacity determined through detailed engineering and approved design. The tentative capacity includes 10.61 MWac of rooftop solar and 8.65 MWac of ground-mounted solar, totaling 19.26 MWac.

Bid Security: INR 1 Crore (Indian Rupees One Crore Only)
Financial Requirements: Bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least INR 83.51 Crore (Indian Rupees Eighty-Three Crore & Fifty-One Lakh) or its equivalent in foreign currency over the past three financial years. Additionally, the net worth of the bidder as of the last day of the preceding financial year must be at least 100% of the bidder’s paid-up share capital.
