Chint Power, a leading Chinese manufacturer with over 1 million installed photovoltaic inverters worldwide, has announced a significant new partnership in Brazil. The company has teamed up with GT Solar, part of the ibyte group, a prominent distributor of photovoltaic solar energy equipment operating nationwide. GT Solar’s distribution center in Fortaleza, Ceará, will bolster Chint Power’s presence in Brazil’s Northeast region.

The agreement, valued at approximately R$14 million, involves GT Solar acquiring equipment from Chint Power, reinforcing the latter’s growth strategy in Brazil. This partnership follows two other agreements made in April with Odex Distribuidora from Maringá (PR) and OIW from Taquari (RS), totaling around R$54 million.

“Chint Power is committed to promoting sustainable and clean energy in Brazil, one of the fastest-growing solar energy markets in the world,” said Moisés Siqueira, Marketing and Market Intelligence Manager at Chint Power. “This new partnership with GT Solar is strategic for our expansion. Photovoltaic energy has been gaining more space and importance, and we will continue to invest to meet the growing demand.”
