Central Electricity Board Invites Bids For 2 MW Floating Solar Power Plant At Tamarind Falls Reservoir

The Central Electricity Board (CEB) of Mauritius has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under Section 14(2) of the Public Procurement Act 2006 (as amended) for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of a 2 MWac Floating Solar Power Plant at Tamarind Falls Reservoir.

This open international bidding opportunity invites eligible local and international bidders to participate. Bidding documents can be accessed and downloaded from the Government e-procurement System.

  • Bid Submission Deadline: Tuesday 30 July 2024, 13:30hrs (Mauritian Time)
  • Bid Decryption and Re-encryption: Tuesday 30 July 2024, 14:31hrs to Thursday 01 August 2024, 14:00hrs (Mauritian Time)
  • Bid Opening: Thursday 01 August 2024, 14:01hrs to 18:00hrs (Mauritian Time)
  • Pre-bid Meeting and Site Visit: Tuesday 09 July 2024, 10:30hrs (Mauritian Time) at Tamarind Falls Reservoir, Henrietta, Mauritius
  • Bid Opening Venue: The Conference Room, Central Procurement Board, 1st Floor, Social Security House, Julius Nyerere Avenue, Rose-Hill, Republic of Mauritius

The CEB reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to cancel the bidding process without liability to any bidder. For more information and to participate, interested parties are encouraged to visit the e-Procurement System and attend the pre-bid meeting.
