The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has announced three tenders aimed at installing a total of 7 MW of on-grid rooftop solar systems with battery backup for captive use on government buildings. The bids for these projects must be submitted by July 24, 2024, with bid openings scheduled for the same day.
Under Tender 1, the selected bidder will be responsible for installing 4 MW of hybrid rooftop solar systems, ranging from 11 kW to 50 kW in capacity, with an estimated contract value of โน68.74 crore.
Tender 2 requires the installation of 2 MW of hybrid rooftop solar systems, ranging from 1 kW to 10 kW, with an estimated contract value of โน35.57 crore.
Lastly, Tender 3 seeks the installation of 1 MW of rooftop solar systems, ranging from 51 kW to 75 kW, valued at โน17.38 crore.
Selected bidders for all tenders must install the systems within four months of receiving the work order and provide five years of comprehensive maintenance. Additionally, they are required to submit an earnest money deposit of 2% of the estimated contract value and furnish performance security equivalent to 5% of the estimated contract value.
