Engineer Hanin Ahmed Saeed from the Directorate of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency highlighted Jordan’s potential for green hydrogen during the “Future of Green Hydrogen in Jordan” event hosted by the Jordanian Engineers Association. She discussed the national strategy for green hydrogen and the government’s efforts to position Jordan as a regional hub for this renewable energy source.

Engineer Saeed emphasized the country’s initiatives to develop green hydrogen infrastructure and attract investment, aligning with global renewable energy trends. The event brought together experts and policymakers to discuss technological advancements, economic benefits, and regulatory frameworks essential for the growth of green hydrogen in Jordan.

“Green hydrogen represents a pivotal opportunity for Jordan to diversify its energy sources and contribute to a more sustainable future,” said Saeed. The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration and investment to achieve Jordan’s renewable energy goals and enhance its role in the global green energy transition.
