Yemen’s Minister And Dhamar Governor Address Electricity Challenges And Improvements

In a recent meeting, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the Minister of Electricity and Energy in the caretaker government, and Mohammed Nasser Al-Bukhaiti, Governor of Dhamar, addressed the electricity situation in Dhamar Governorate.

They focused on the need for extensive maintenance of electricity networks damaged by recent aggression and discussed plans to rehabilitate and expand the General Electricity Corporation’s activities in the most affected areas.

The meeting highlighted the challenges faced in electricity service delivery and outlined priorities for improving the network using available resources. The Minister emphasized efforts to restart the power station and repair damaged infrastructure, while the Governor affirmed local support for these initiatives to alleviate the impact on residents.
