In the ever-evolving photovoltaic (PV) industry, TBEA has firmly established itself as a leading force in the first half of 2024. Amid a market characterized by booming PV installations and considerable challenges in manufacturing, TBEA has distinguished itself as a prominent player, consistently outperforming competitors in the fiercely competitive PV inverter tender market.

The PV sector in 2024 has been marked by a paradoxical trend: declining prices coupled with surging demand. While the manufacturing sector faces pressure from falling prices, frequently dipping below established thresholds, the PV inverter market has witnessed a substantial increase in demand. This surge has intensified competition among key industry players, with TBEA emerging as a clear leader.

During the first half of 2024, the PV inverter market saw significant activity with numerous bidding projects. TBEA consistently secured top positions in these tenders, achieving a remarkable bidding capacity of 15,254 MW. This performance underscores the company’s dominance and influential role in the PV inverter industry, highlighting its ability to excel in a highly competitive environment.

TBEA’s leadership extends across various segments of the PV inverter market. In the first half of 2024, the company secured a bidding capacity of 2,600 MW in the PV central inverter market, capturing a significant share of tender awards and ranking among the top five contenders. This achievement underscores TBEA’s robust capabilities and its capacity to meet the rigorous demands of centralized procurement, particularly in projects led by state-owned enterprises.

Beyond centralized inverters, TBEA has made significant strides in the growing market for string inverters, emerging as a key player in this segment and leading in confirmed bid capacities. In the first half of 2024, TBEA secured the second position in the PV string inverter market with a bidding capacity of 12,654 MW. State-owned enterprises categorize capacities into two segments: 150kW or less for residential and commercial projects, and above 150kW for large-scale commercial and ground-mounted power stations. TBEA demonstrated exceptional performance in both categories, securing the second position with 744 MW in the below 150kW segment and 11,200 MW in the above 150kW segment. This strong performance, particularly in high-power string inverter projects, underscores TBEA’s technological expertise and reinforces its leadership in the PV inverter sector.

    TBEA’s Exceptional Achievements:

In the first half of 2024, TBEA’s exceptional performance has been clearly demonstrated through its consistent leadership in monthly bid rankings. The company has secured numerous project bids from major state-owned enterprises, including Huadian, China Three Gorges Corporation, PowerChina, and various regional entities. A notable portion of these awarded projects involved medium- to high-power string inverters, underscoring TBEA’s expertise in handling complex and large-scale projects.
