Enteligent Inc., a developer of solar-powered DC-to-DC chargers for electric vehicles (EVs), has secured $6 million in funding to advance its commercialization of photovoltaic (PV) module-level power optimizers and bi-directional DC-to-DC EV chargers. This includes the worldโ€™s first long-dwell-time 25kW DC-to-DC EV charger, set to power a major logistics companyโ€™s newly electrified delivery fleet. The funding round, led by Taronga Ventures, boosts the company’s total fundraising to $19 million since 2021, with prior investments from NOVA.

Enteligent is also pre-selling its solar-powered TLCEV T1 EVSE, which charges EVs directly from on-site solar generation, promoting efficient energy use and reducing reliance on grid power. The TLCEV T1 offers up to 12.5 kW of fast DC chargingโ€”twice as fast as many AC Level 2 chargersโ€”while minimizing conversion losses, leading to up to 20% energy savings.

โ€œEnteligentโ€™s technology sets a new standard in maximizing solar energy efficiency,โ€ added Jonathan Hannam, Managing Partner at Taronga Ventures. โ€œTheir holistic approach to solar power optimization offers practical solutions with real-world applications that meet the needs of global real asset owners and operators. Together, we can significantly advance decarbonization efforts for real assets.โ€
