A delegation from SAF-AGA Renewable Energy Company, led by Managing Director Godbless Safugha, visited the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) at its Corporate Headquarters. The visit aimed to congratulate the new management of REA and explore potential collaborations to enhance energy access in Nigeria.
SAF-AGA is focusing on innovative solar solutions, including developing 50 mini-grid sites to serve communities, educational institutions, and productive use equipment. The company emphasized that each mini-grid is equipped with the latest technologies and can be scaled up as needed.
Umar Abdullahi Umar, Executive Director of Technical Services at REA, welcomed the SAF-AGA team and praised their previous achievements, many of which were in partnership with REA. Umar reiterated the importance of partnerships with experienced stakeholders like SAF-AGA to achieve universal access to sustainable electricity in Nigeria through innovative solutions.
