Egypt And UAE Forge Stronger Ties In Industry And Energy: Prime Minister Madbouly Meets UAE’s Sultan Al Jaber

In a recent meeting, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Sultan Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields including industry, energy, electricity, and investment.

Prime Minister Madbouly emphasized that both countries have prioritized enhancing their partnership, with work teams from Egypt and the UAE focusing on these critical areas. He noted that the results of President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyanโ€™s recent visit to Egypt, including his discussions with President Abdelfattah El-Sisi, highlighted the need to promptly activate agreed-upon joint projects.

Sultan Al Jaber underscored the UAEโ€™s commitment to Egypt, mentioning the significant projects underway, such as the manufacturing of solar panels and the development of battery storage for renewable energy. Al Jaber expressed readiness to explore additional projects in alignment with Egyptโ€™s industrial strategy.

Regarding the energy sector, Al Jaber reiterated commitments to complete 4 gigawatts of energy projects within a year and to advance several gas projects. The meeting aimed to solidify the executive agenda and set the stage for continued collaboration between the two nations.
