In a big step for India’s renewable energy efforts, Saatvik Solar has successfully delivered 70.2 MW of high-efficiency solar modules to Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), a government-owned power generation company. These solar panels are set to power SJVN’s major renewable energy project in Punjab, and impressively, the delivery was completed in just four months—highlighting Saatvik’s commitment to supporting India’s clean energy goals.
The Punjab project will significantly boost the state’s renewable energy capacity and is closely aligned with India’s broader ambitions for sustainable power. This collaboration between Saatvik and SJVN marks a key milestone in the country’s clean energy journey.
Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Solar, emphasized the importance of the partnership. “We’re not just making solar panels at Saatvik; we’re helping build India’s clean energy future. The successful delivery to SJVN shows that we have the technology and the capacity to handle large-scale solar projects,” he said. “This partnership not only strengthens our position in the market but also speeds up India’s move toward its clean energy targets.”
The solar modules provided by Saatvik are designed for top performance, even in low-light conditions, and are made from monocrystalline silicon. Their sleek black design and high efficiency make them perfect for installations where space is limited.
Saatvik Solar is rapidly expanding its footprint in India’s renewable energy space. The company operates a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Ambala with a 3.8 GW capacity and is constantly innovating with technologies like high-efficiency half-cut modules. Additionally, Saatvik is exploring opportunities in battery storage solutions and expanding its engineering and construction services, both in India and internationally.
As India works toward a more sustainable future, partnerships like this one between Saatvik Solar and SJVN highlight the growing role of renewable energy projects in transforming the country’s energy landscape.
