Lebanon Invites Bids For Solar Power Plant Expansion At Beirut River Court

The Republic of Lebanon’s Ministry of Energy and Water has issued a public tender for the expansion of the solar power plant at the Beirut River Court. This project, registered under number 2024/1708, seeks to increase the plant’s capacity by 40 MW. The tender is open to bids based on the lowest price and will be awarded in US dollars.

Interested parties must submit their tenders by Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The opening of the tenders will occur immediately after the submission deadline on the same day. The tender will be valid for a minimum of 90 days from the submission deadline, with an execution period of 12 months.

The tender requires a guarantee amount of 200,000 US dollars, valid for 28 days beyond the tender’s validity period. Tender documents can be accessed through the Public Procurement Authority’s central electronic platform and payment for the tender fee must be made in Lebanese pounds according to the Banque du Liban’s exchange rate on the payment date.
