The Ministry of Energy, Trade, and Industry (YEEB) of Cyprus has announced an extension for the submission of applications under the “Sponsorship Plan for the Energy Upgrade and Strengthening of the Competitiveness of Large Enterprises.” The new deadline is set for September 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

This initiative, part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (SRP) of Cyprus, is allocated a total budget of €17 million. Of this amount, €10 million is provided by the European Union’s new REPowerEU Plan. The funding aims to support eligible expenses that align with REPowerEU’s objectives.

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted through YEEB’s online Sponsorship Plan System. Priority will be given based on the order of submission, with funding distributed up to the available budget.

Interested parties can access the Plan Guide, which includes comprehensive details and required forms, on the Industry and Technology Service website. A revised “List of Required Documents” has been issued, allowing unaudited financial statements for 2022 to be submitted initially. However, audited statements must be provided by November 30, 2024.
