The 3rd edition of The Solar Week Nigeria 2024: Conference & Awards, organized by SolarQuarter, took place on 12th September 2024 at the Sandralia Hotel Limited in Abuja, Nigeria. This prominent event brought together key stakeholders, innovators, and decision-makers from the renewable energy sector to explore the future of solar energy in Nigeria.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Ibrahim Sulu, Director, Energy Management, Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), underscored the pivotal role of solar energy in achieving the nation’s energy diversification and sustainability goals. โ€œThe Solar Week Nigeria 2024 is a crucial forum for promoting renewable energy adoption across the country.

The conference also featured an awards ceremony that celebrated outstanding achievements and contributions to the solar energy sector, recognizing individuals and organizations driving significant innovation and progress.

The Solar Week Nigeria 2024 reaffirmed the country’s dedication to expanding its solar energy capacity, supporting sustainable development, and delivering long-term environmental and economic benefits across the region.
