The project, under the Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP), is set to be constructed at Mukim Belanja, Kinta District, Perak, with a total contract value of RM115 million.

The project is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024, with a targeted Commercial Operation Date (COD) by 31 December 2025. The initiative aligns with Malaysia’s increasing focus on renewable energy and contributes to Pekat Group’s growth in the solar energy sector. Pekat’s Board of Directors believes that this contract will positively impact the company’s earnings from 2025 onwards.

This development comes as part of Pekat’s ongoing efforts to support clean energy projects across Malaysia, bolstering its position as a key player in the renewable energy landscape.
