The tender, identified as 191/2024, covers the comprehensive development of solar PV systems, including both design and construction phases. The estimated value of the project is approximately €950,000, excluding VAT. This open procedure aims to enhance the Authority’s capabilities in harnessing solar power, aligning with Cyprus’s broader renewable energy goals.

The tender documents outline that the successful bidder will be responsible for the study, design, and installation of the PV systems, which will be implemented at various EAC substations. The procurement process is governed by the EU Directive 2014/25/EU and is open for submissions until October 16, 2024, at 15:00 local time.

The Cyprus Electricity Authority, a public law body focused on electricity supply and infrastructure, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors who can meet the technical and financial criteria set forth in the tender documents. All submissions must be made electronically through the EAC’s e-procurement portal.
