Vadodara Division Launches ₹51.2 Million Tender for Rooftop Solar Plant Installation with 12-Month Deadline

The Vadodara Division of Indian Railways has announced an open tender for the installation of rooftop solar plants at various locations within the division. The tender, which has an advertised value of ₹51,212,455.88, is classified under the Electrical Power section. The project is aimed at the solarization of rooftops, with a completion period of 12 months.

Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals through a single packet system under the normal tender category. The tender follows a single-rate bidding style, with options to quote above, below, or at par with the specified rate. The deadline for bid submissions is set for October 17, 2024, at 15:00 hours, while the bidding will officially commence on October 3, 2024. The tender was uploaded on September 18, 2024, at 16:51 hours.

No pre-bid conference will be held for this tender, and joint venture firms are not permitted to participate. The contract is classified as a works contract under the expenditure category. The earnest money deposit required for participation is ₹406,100, and all offers must remain valid for 60 days from the submission deadline.
