Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Secures INR 512 Crore Solar EPC Contracts in Gujarat and Maharashtra

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a leading renewable energy EPC company, has announced securing two major domestic orders from private independent power producers (IPPs) worth approximately INR 512 crore.

The first order involves the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a 200 MW AC / 250 MWp DC solar PV plant for a project in Gujarat. Additionally, the company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the EPC of a 50 MW AC / 65 MWp DC solar PV plant in Maharashtra.

Commenting on the new contracts, Amit Jain, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, stated, “We are pleased to secure two more prestigious solar projects from leading private IPPs. These wins demonstrate our strong positioning in the rapidly growing domestic renewable energy market.”

Both projects have been awarded by repeat clients, highlighting the company’s track record of successful project execution. In 2024, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy secured six major domestic solar contracts, five of which were from existing clients, further reflecting the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence in the renewable energy sector.
