SunCable has officially inaugurated Indonesiaโs first Renewable Energy Technology Research Park, marking a significant milestone in the countryโs renewable energy landscape. This initiative is the first of five planned research parks aimed at equipping Indonesia’s future workforce with the necessary skills to lead the transition to renewable energy.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the inaugural Technology Research Park took place over the weekend at the Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH). This park will serve as a model for future facilities in partnership with leading universities across Indonesia.
As solar power continues to reshape the global energy landscape, SunCableโs research parks are set to position Indonesia as a world leader in renewable energy. Students at the research parks will gain access to cutting-edge renewable technologies, enhancing their practical knowledge and skills through hands-on training, workshops, seminars, and innovative research projects.
These research parks play a crucial role in supporting Indonesia’s ambition to become the ASEAN hub for green technology, paving the way for a sustainable energy future in the region.
