The Adani Group and Google have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing sustainability goals and increasing clean energy contributions to India’s power grid. Under this partnership, Adani will supply renewable energy from a new solar-wind hybrid project, part of the worldโ€™s largest renewable energy plant located in Khavda, Gujarat. The project is set to begin commercial operations by the third quarter of 2025.

Adani, renowned for its expertise in delivering large-scale renewable projects such as wind, solar, hybrid, and energy storage, will provide tailored clean energy solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients. This initiative aligns with the group’s broader strategy to decarbonize industries while focusing more on merchant and C&I segments.

The collaboration also supports Googleโ€™s goal of achieving 24/7 carbon-free energy, ensuring that the tech giantโ€™s cloud services and operations in India are powered by renewable energy, contributing to both companiesโ€™ sustainability objectives.
