Jakson Solar Unveils Advanced Solar Modules at REI Expo 2024

Jakson Solar, a division of the Jakson Group, launched its latest solar technology, the ‘Helia NXT R’ modules, at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2024, held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The event was inaugurated by Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), along with prominent board members from Jakson Group.

The newly unveiled ‘Helia NXT R’ solar module offers an efficiency of up to 23.34%, powered by high-efficiency 16 BB N-Type TOPCon solar cells. With a power output between 610Wp and 630Wp, the modules are designed to withstand challenging environments while providing enhanced mechanical strength and reliability.

Commenting on the launch, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh praised the advancements in solar technology, emphasizing their critical role in supporting India’s clean energy goals. “Innovations like the Helia NXT R are essential for driving sustainable energy growth,” he noted, highlighting Jakson Group’s contribution to the renewable energy sector.

Mr. Sameer Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Jakson Group, reiterated the company’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, stating, “We aim to consistently exceed customer expectations and contribute to a sustainable future.”

Sundeep Gupta, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Jakson Solar, expressed excitement about the new product, describing it as a testament to the companyโ€™s dedication to innovation. โ€œThe Helia NXT R, equipped with TOPCon technology, reflects our mission to lead in renewable energy solutions,โ€ he said.

Jakson Solarโ€™s CEO, Anurag Garg, added that the new product would offer superior performance, a lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE), and better returns on investment, signaling a promising future for India’s solar sector.

In addition, Jakson Solar announced plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore to establish a 2,500 MW solar cell manufacturing facility. The company also aims to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity from 1,200 MW to 2,000 MW.

The REI Expo 2024 serves as a premier platform for showcasing advancements in renewable energy, fostering engagement among industry stakeholders, and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
