INDUS Realty Trust, Inc. (INDUS), a U.S.-based logistics real estate company, has completed its first rooftop solar installations at two buildings in the New England Tradeport (NETP) logistics park in Windsor, Connecticut.”We are thrilled to celebrate the completion of the solar installations at 110 and 220 Tradeport Drive,” said Michael Gamzon, President and CEO of INDUS. “These projects mark a major step forward in our commitment to increasing our portfolio’s environmental sustainability. This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work by members of our team as well as the dedicated professionals at Verogy and Titan Energy.”
Key Highlights:
- Renewable Energy Output: The two solar arrays, featuring 2,560 high-efficiency panels, are expected to generate approximately 1.67 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually.
- Environmental Impact: These installations will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 1,166 metric tons per year, equivalent to the emissions of 277 gasoline-powered cars driven for a year.
- Financial Gains: The projects benefit from incentives under Connecticut’s Non-Residential Energy Solutions (NRES) program.
