EtihadWE and Systems Limited MEA Partner at GITEX for AI-Driven Service and Sustainability Enhancement

Etihad Water & Electricity (EtihadWE), a prominent water and electricity provider in the Northern Emirates, has announced a strategic partnership with Systems Limited MEA – Techvista to advance digital transformation within its operations. The collaboration aims to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies to boost efficiency, enhance sustainability, and improve customer service.

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by EtihadWE’s CFO, Thomas Spannring, and Khurram Majeed, General Manager of Systems Limited MEA, at GITEX Global. This MoU sets the framework for both organizations to jointly explore and implement technology-driven solutions designed to address operational challenges, optimize resource management, and contribute to the UAE’s sustainable development goals.

According to Spannring, the alliance is pivotal in advancing EtihadWE’s capabilities through cutting-edge AI and machine learning, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with national sustainability efforts. “This collaboration underscores our dedication to providing innovative and sustainable services that improve quality of life for our customers,” he added.

Majeed highlighted Systems Limited’s commitment to supporting EtihadWE’s digital goals, stating, “Our expertise in AI, digital strategy, and emerging technologies aligns with EtihadWE’s mission to lead in renewable energy deployment and sustainable utility services in the UAE.”
