ENOC Teams Up With University Of Dubai To Enhance Skills And Knowledge In UAE’s Energy Sector

ENOC Group, a major global energy company, has taken a key step to promote learning and knowledge-sharing in the UAE by partnering with the University of Dubai. This new agreement highlights ENOCโ€™s dedication to building a knowledge-driven economy, aligning with the UAE’s National Strategy for Higher Education 2030.ย 

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, mentioned โ€œWe are pleased to sign this agreement with the University of Dubai to foster knowledge exchange between both entities. As a national company, we recognise the key role talent plays in shaping the local economy and we are committed to redefining the industry by providing the UAEโ€™s youth with the necessary skill set to elevate the energy sector.โ€

Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, also said in a statement, โ€œPartnerships that span across various sectors and domains with leading companies bring immense value to our students and graduates. This collaboration provides training opportunities that will facilitate the future employment of our graduates and benefits talent from both sides. Initiatives like these align with our vision of developing and educating future leaders who will make an impact in the business world. Our strategic pillars โ€” innovation, a global academic perspective, and character and leadership building โ€” remain central to all that we do.โ€

The collaboration aims to provide students and professionals from both organizations with essential technical and practical skills. His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, and His Excellency Eissa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, signed the agreement, joined by other representatives from both sides.

He further added, โ€œThe university’s social responsibility stems from its pivotal role as a beacon of knowledge and as a contributor to society, tasked with preparing future generations both academically and ethically. Our mission is to foster individuals who will contribute to the development of society and sustainable growth. At its core, social responsibility means love for one’s nation, dedication to work, sincerity, and respect for others.โ€ Dr. Al Bastaki emphasized that this agreement aligns with the University of Dubaiโ€™s initiatives in energy, environment, sustainability, and innovationโ€”key areas that also resonate with ENOCโ€™s ongoing efforts.

As part of the partnership, ENOC Group employees and their families will benefit from tuition discounts and scholarship opportunities. In return, the University of Dubai will gain access to ENOC’s training, research, and development resources, along with knowledge-sharing opportunities through workshops, guest lectures, and site visits, all aimed at enhancing students’ skills and competitiveness.
