Paradip Port Authority Calls for Bids to Develop 10 MW Solar Power Plant with 10-Year O&M Commitment

The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has issued an e-Tender Call Notice inviting online bids for the development of a 10 MW (AC)/12 MWp solar photovoltaic grid-connected power plant. The project encompasses design, engineering, procurement, construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of 10 years.

The estimated project cost is โ‚น87.63 crore, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of โ‚น97.63 lakh. A tender fee of โ‚น15,000 plus 12% GST applies. Interested bidders are required to meet specific eligibility criteria, including a minimum average annual turnover of โ‚น26.29 crore over the last three financial years ending 31 March 2024. Supporting financial documents must be certified by a Chartered Accountant or accompanied by an affidavit.

The work is expected to be completed within 300 calendar days from the date of award. The EMD can be submitted as a bank guarantee from any Indian national or scheduled bank in favor of Paradip Port Authority. Original bank guarantees must be submitted to the Executive Engineer, Port Electrical Divisionโ€“II, within seven days of bid opening.

The deadline for bid submissions is 15 December 2024, at 6:00 PM, with the bid opening scheduled for 16 December 2024, at 12:00 PM. This solar project aligns with PPAโ€™s commitment to integrating renewable energy into its operations, enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency.
