MNRE Invites Stakeholders To Discuss Green Hydrogen Centre Of Excellence Proposals

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is organizing a hybrid meeting to discuss the recent call for proposals for establishing a Centre of Excellence under the R&D scheme. This scheme, outlined in an order dated 15 March 2020, is part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The mission focuses on promoting the development of indigenous technologies for green hydrogen and its derivatives. The goal is to foster efficient and cost-effective solutions across the country while strengthening research and innovation capacity within India.

As part of this initiative, a call for proposals was issued on 4 November 2024, inviting submissions related to the Centre of Excellence. The deadline for submission is set for 19 December 2024. The hybrid meeting with stakeholders will take place on 9 December 2024 at 3:00 PM in Room 412, Atal Akshay, Urja Bhawan, Delhi.

The primary agenda of the meeting is to address stakeholder concerns regarding the proposal process. Participants are encouraged to attend the meeting either in person or virtually through the provided link. This initiative aims to ensure collaboration and input from all relevant parties, contributing to the successful implementation of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
