The tender issued by NHPC Limited, under its joint venture Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), invites bids for the development of a solar power park in Madhogarh, Uttar Pradesh. The estimated cost of the project is โน28.60 crore, with an earnest money deposit (EMD) requirement of โน43 lakh. The bid document is priced at โน5,000, and the bid validity period is 120 days. Successful bidders will need to provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG) as specified in the tender documents. The project must be completed within 350 days from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.
Critical dates for this tender include the publishing date of December 10, 2024, and the bid submission deadline of January 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on January 2, 2025, at 3:30 PM, and the date for financial bid opening will be communicated later.
Eligible bidders must be Class-I Local Suppliers under the Public Procurement Policy and demonstrate financial and technical qualifications. Bidders must have achieved an annual construction turnover of at least โน28.60 crore in any one of the past three years. They should also have completed similar works in the last seven years, meeting criteria based on project value: one work of at least โน22.88 crore, two works of โน14.30 crore each, or three works of โน11.44 crore each.
Additional requirements include PAN, GST, EPF, and ESIC registrations. The tender process incorporates an Integrity Pact to ensure transparency and fairness. The project reflects NHPCโs commitment to advancing Indiaโs renewable energy goals by establishing efficient solar infrastructure.
