Adani Green Energy Expands Renewable Capacity With 250 MW Solar Plant In Rajasthan

Adani Green Energy Twenty-Five Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has successfully commissioned a 250 MW solar power project in Badi Sid, located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. This development marks another milestone in AGEL’s journey to expand its renewable energy portfolio.

With the addition of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity now stands at an impressive 11,434 MW. The company continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading renewable energy players in India.

The decision to declare the commissioning of the solar plant was finalized at 11:45 p.m. on December 11, 2024, following the necessary clearances. This project is part of AGEL’s broader commitment to supporting India’s transition to cleaner energy sources.

This achievement reflects AGEL’s ongoing efforts to enhance energy sustainability and contribute to reducing carbon emissions. The company remains focused on meeting its renewable energy goals while aligning with India’s vision of achieving significant growth in the green energy sector.
