SolarWadi, a top renewable energy developer in Oman, has signed an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract with Nafath Energy, a well-known Omani EPC contractor specializing in solar energy. The contract is for the development of a solar power plant at the Arab Open University in Muscat. This project is an important milestone in helping both the university and Oman reach their goals for reducing carbon emissions.
The solar power plant, expected to generate over 2 GWh of clean energy every year, will help reduce the universityโs carbon footprint and serve as a sustainability model for schools in the region.
