As utility-scale solar projects continue to grow in size and complexity, tracker systems are increasingly expected to deliver not only higher energy yields but also adaptability, durability, and cost efficiency. PV Hardware (PVH) rises to this challenge with its Monoline+ 2P, a next-generation two-in-portrait (2P) horizontal single-axis tracker engineered to support XXL photovoltaic modules while maximizing operational efficiency.

The Monoline+ 2P has been thoughtfully redesigned to meet the evolving demands of modern solar installations. Its advanced architecture supports modules up to 70 meters per motor, enabling long tracker rows and efficient land utilization. With a rotation range of ±60°, driven by a slew drive motor, the system ensures precise solar tracking throughout the day, optimizing energy capture across diverse site conditions.

A defining strength of the Monoline+ 2P is its adaptability. The tracker is compatible with all mainstream PV modules, including next-generation XXL formats, making it a future-ready solution for both new developments and system expansions. Its design accommodates ground cover ratios between 30–50% and slope tolerances of up to 15% in the north–south direction, ensuring reliable performance even on uneven or complex terrain.

PVH’s TotalStow™ strategy further enhances system robustness. By reinforcing the tracker structure and optimizing stow positions, TotalStow™ improves resistance to extreme weather events while reducing long-term maintenance needs. This approach contributes directly to asset protection and operational reliability—key considerations for developers, EPCs, and asset owners focused on long-term returns.

Operational efficiency is also embedded in the Monoline+ 2P’s digital backbone. The system integrates PVH’s deeptrack® control technology, which uses an astronomical algorithm with GPS input to deliver accurate tracking. Wireless communication, SCADA compatibility via Modbus TCP or OPC-UA, and optional advanced backtracking algorithms allow seamless plant-level integration and optimized energy production.

From an installation perspective, the Monoline+ 2P is delivered pre-assembled, significantly reducing on-site labor and construction timelines. PVH complements this with on-site training and commissioning support, reinforcing its commitment to project execution excellence. The system is backed by a 10-year structural warranty and a 5-year warranty on electromechanical components, providing additional confidence for long-term deployment.
