NTPC Renewable Energy Announces Commercial Operation Of 30 MW Capacity At Gujarat Solar PV Project

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has announced the commercial operation of the second part capacity of 30 MW of the 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project in Mesanka, Gujarat. The commercial operation date for this capacity was officially declared as 00:00 hours on December 11, 2024. This declaration comes based on the certificate issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency on December 18, 2024.

The commissioning of this 30 MW capacity marks a significant step forward in the progress of the Gujarat Solar PV Project, which is part of NTPC’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio. The project aims to contribute to the growth of clean energy generation in the country and supports India’s commitment to increasing its renewable energy capacity.
