Aristo India, a leading name in home interior solutions specializing in wardrobes, kitchens, and furniture, has launched its first 100% solar-powered manufacturing facility in Bangalore. This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant step toward the companyโs goal of carbon neutrality and its commitment to a greener future. The Honourable Energy Minister of Karnataka, Shri. KJ George, inaugurated the facility and engaged with the staff.
Spanning 104,969 sq. ft. (2.4 acres), the factory includes 57,300 sq. ft. dedicated to furniture manufacturing and 26,191 sq. ft. for finishing and warehousing. Its newly installed solar power system has a capacity of 340 kVAp, fully offsetting the factoryโs electricity needs. This initiative not only reduces the companyโs carbon footprint but also optimizes operational costs, enabling cost benefits for customers.
Kuruvila Kurian, Director, Aristo India, stated, โIt is a moment of great pride for us at Aristo India as we inaugurate our new solar-powered facility in Bangalore. This marks a significant milestone in our journey toward sustainability and is in line with our aim to ensure company growth and reach newer customers. This factory has been built to deliver world-class performance, be it people’s safety, product quality, or environmental performance and with this green switch, we aim to inspire our partners, customers, and competitors to join us in fostering a greener tomorrow. We remain grateful for the Honโble Energy Minister to grace this occasionโ.
Aristo India has introduced a cutting-edge facility designed to maximize energy efficiency and sustainability. The rooftop is equipped with advanced high-density solar panels, each generating over 0.5 kW of power while using minimal roof space. Paired with high-efficiency inverters, this system reduces energy losses and helps lower COโ emissions by 400 tons annuallyโequivalent to planting [insert number] trees. The setup also stabilizes the local power grid, ensuring reliable electricity for the community. Additionally, the solar panels act as a shield against heat, improving working conditions at the factory during summer.
Beyond solar energy, Aristo India is dedicated to broader sustainability initiatives, including sewage treatment, reducing raw material waste, transitioning its service vehicles to electric, and implementing rainwater harvesting. These efforts demonstrate the companyโs leadership in green manufacturing. By launching this facility, Aristo India reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and responsible business practices, setting a benchmark for others in the industry.
