OREDA Invites Bids For 10 MW Rooftop Solar PV Systems In Odisha Under Rate Contract

OREDA Limited has issued a Request for Empanelment (RfE) under RfE No. 5021 dated December 31, 2024. The RfE is intended for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance of five years of rooftop solar PV on-grid systems across Odisha. The project targets a cumulative capacity of up to 10 MW on a rate contract basis.

Key dates outlined in the tender process include the publication date of January 1, 2025, with pre-bid queries due by January 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM. A pre-bid virtual meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Bidders must submit online technical and price bids by January 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and hard copies of select technical bid documents by January 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The opening of technical bids is slated for February 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with the date for opening price bids to be announced later.

The bid submission process mandates bidders to provide specific financial instruments, including a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). The EMD amount, as per the Bid Data Sheet, stands at โ‚น10,00,000, which must be deposited either through a demand draft, fixed deposit receipt, or bank guarantee. The PBG requirement is 3% of the contract value, ensuring compliance and commitment to project execution.
