Q1: What are New Energie’s strategic priorities for expanding its global footprint, and how do your tracker and energy solutions align with the renewable energy ambitions of the Middle East?
At New Energie, our focus is on expanding our presence globally while bringing advanced, efficient, and sustainable solar tracking technology to new markets, especially in the Middle East. We are proud to be a Make in India company, and this year marks our debut at WFS, where we are introducing our solar tracker solutions to the Middle Eastern market.
Our tracker is a highly efficient, simple, and durable product, designed for diverse and challenging environments. More than 82% of our tracker components are manufactured in India, making it a robust and cost-effective solution. Its simplicity ensures adaptability to tough terrains, such as sandy landscapes, and varying climate conditions, which are typical in the Middle East.
The technology behind our tracker is highly advanced, ensuring maximum efficiency and energy yield for solar projects. By bringing this solution to the Middle East, we are helping to align with the region’s growing renewable energy ambitions, particularly as nations in this region focus on achieving their clean energy targets and sustainability goals.
Our trackers qualify as high-efficiency energy enhancement products for solar plants, ensuring that developers can maximize solar energy output while maintaining reliability and ease of installation. We believe that our trackers will play a vital role in accelerating the Middle East’s transition to clean energy.
Q2: As a global leader, how does New Energie leverage innovation in solar tracking and energy storage to stay ahead in competitive markets while catering to the diverse needs of its international clientele?
For us, innovation is an ongoing process, and we continuously evolve our products based on real-world experience, client feedback, and project learnings. Our focus is on delivering reliable, cutting-edge solar tracking solutions that meet the demands of different geographies and climatic conditions.
One of our major innovations is the use of stainless steel bearings, which enhance durability and efficiency. Additionally, we have developed a specialized CoroProtect coating, an in-house technology that offers more than 2,500 hours of salt spray resistance. This feature is particularly useful for solar installations in coastal regions, desert areas, and high-humidity environments, ensuring longevity and reliability.
To further strengthen our manufacturing and supply chain capabilities, we are establishing a 2 GW manufacturing facility in Mumbai, India. This facility will allow us to streamline production, enhance quality control, and cater to increasing global demand.
Another game-changing innovation is our preassembled tracker technology. Unlike conventional trackers, our system comes preassembled, including the side bearing and main bearing assemblies. This approach significantly reduces installation time and labor costs, enabling us to complete installations of over 1 MW per day.
To support our growing international clientele, we are actively exploring the setup of manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the US. By establishing local production hubs, we can better serve regional markets, reduce lead times, and enhance cost efficiency for our clients worldwide.
Our commitment to continuous innovation and expansion ensures that we remain ahead of the curve in the solar energy sector.
Q3: What are New Energie’s key future plans and goals for expanding its footprint in clean energy?
Our journey started with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, and we have now evolved into a leading provider of solar trackers. Our growth trajectory has been remarkable—from a capacity of 300 MW per year, we have now scaled up to 2 GW per year.
Looking ahead, our goal is to expand our capacity to 10 GW, covering four major continents: India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the US, and Europe. This ambitious expansion aligns with global energy transition goals, ensuring that our innovative solutions contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
One of our core strengths lies in maximizing energy generation with minimal resource investment. Our solar trackers provide higher energy yields with the same infrastructure, making them an integral part of the future of renewable energy.
Over the next 24 months, we are focused on:
- Scaling up manufacturing capabilities to meet growing demand
- Expanding our presence in key global markets
- Enhancing product efficiency and performance through continuous R&D
- Supporting large-scale solar projects with advanced tracking solutions
Our long-term vision is to have a global footprint of 10 GW of solar trackers per year, helping accelerate the adoption of solar energy worldwide. By combining innovation, reliability, and efficiency, we are committed to leading the way in clean energy transformation.
