Adani Green Energy Expands Solar Portfolio With 250MW Project In Rajasthan 

Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited, has successfully operationalized a 250 MW solar power project in Bhimsar and Dwada, located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This development marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio. With the commissioning of this project, the total operational renewable generation capacity of Adani Green Energy Limited has now increased to 11,916.1 MW.

Following the necessary approvals and clearances, a decision was taken at 11:50 a.m. on February 21, 2025, to begin operations at the plant. Power generation commenced from February 22, 2025. This project aligns with the company’s long-term vision of increasing clean energy production and supporting India’s transition to sustainable power sources.

The company has formally communicated this milestone as part of its disclosure obligations under SEBI regulations. This new solar capacity addition further strengthens Adani Green Energy Limited’s position as a key player in the renewable energy sector, contributing to India’s growing solar infrastructure.
