WattPower Surpasses 15 GW in Green Power Generation, Strengthening its leadership in Renewables

The company has successfully produced and supplied nearly 15 gigawatts (GW) of solar string inverters in just 17 months—a record-breaking achievement that reinforces its commitment to driving India’s solar energy growth.

Designed for longevity, WattPower’s inverters feature minimal moving parts, ensuring a lifespan of up to 25 years. The company’s patented technology also enhances efficiency and safety by eliminating DC-side failures, which account for 74% of safety hazards in photovoltaic (PV) plants.

A key driver of this success is WattPower’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai, established in 2022. With an annual production capacity of 9.9 GW, the facility produces advanced solar string inverters, including the flagship 330KTL model. The plant’s semi-automated assembly line and stringent quality checks ensure each product meets the highest performance and durability standards.
