With this acquisition, Omnidian strengthens its presence in Australia—the world’s leading solar market per capita—while expanding its service offerings to better support clients and partners across the region. Since entering the Australian market in early 2022, Omnidian has steadily built its presence, and this latest development significantly accelerates its ability to provide top-tier solar asset management services.

Mark Liffmann, CEO at Omnidian stated, “We are thrilled to welcome the Solar Service Guys team into our Omnidian group. Their dedication to technical excellence, quality customer care, and commitment to advancing solar adoption perfectly aligns with our vision. Bringing them on board solidifies our investment in the Australian market and will help us deliver more robust, locally focused solutions for OEMs, solar retailers, installers, and asset owners across the country.”

Peter Matthews, Founder & CEO of Solar Service Guys, also added “Partnering with Omnidian unlocks our ability to combine local expertise with a global technology and support framework. We look forward to enhancing our offerings through world-class technology and delivering even stronger service benefits to our clients. Together, we will bolster Australia’s clean energy future by ensuring reliable, high-performing solar systems for homes, businesses, and large-scale projects.”

Solar Service Guys will now operate as a fully integrated subsidiary of Omnidian, bringing extensive knowledge of the Australian solar market and an established on-the-ground service network. This expertise, combined with Omnidian’s advanced technology platform—trained on over 380,000 asset years of data—will provide solar investors and asset owners with enhanced lifecycle management solutions and actionable business insights. The integration of SSG’s service capabilities with Omnidian’s proprietary AI-driven platform is set to elevate customer experience, optimize system performance, and ensure long-term value for clients.

“From the beginning, Omnidian’s goal was to become the worldwide leader in performance assurance for IoT-enabled distributed clean energy assets. This acquisition is a precursor to our continued expansion into new geographies over the next few years, with research in the EU, LATAM, and other markets ongoing,” said Raymond Szylko, Chief Strategy Officer at Omnidian.

This acquisition marks a major milestone in Omnidian’s global expansion strategy, providing increased resources, technological innovation, and a broader suite of services tailored to the Australian market. Importantly, the transition will ensure seamless continuity for existing clients and partners, while fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centric service.
