What key GoodWe products are you showcasing for Sri Lanka’s residential and commercial solar market?

For the residential market, we expect a shift from on-grid to hybrid inverters. The ES Uniq (3-6kW) inverters are ideal for this transition. They can connect to existing on-grid inverters to create a retrofit energy storage solution or be installed as new hybrid inverters with energy storage. With microgrid functionality, support for diesel generators to charge the battery, and the ability to switch to backup power within a UPS-level switching time of less than 10ms, the ES Uniq is perfect for Sri Lanka’s energy transition.

For the commercial segment, GoodWe’s flagship product is the GT (100/110/125kW) series of inverters. These inverters come with PID Recovery to repair damage caused to PV modules due to high humidity and temperature, and AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) technology to detect and disconnect the PV system from the grid in case of arcing, providing crucial protection for rooftop PV safety. GoodWe’s AFCI has been validated by TÜV Rheinland using laboratory and on-site tests, exceeding the technical market standard to deal with DC arc faults.

The brand stands out due to our consistent product quality, robust after-sales service, and innovative features like PID Recovery, Anti-PID, and Shadow Scan, which address specific challenges faced by solar systems in the region.

How does GoodWe ensure product quality and support in Sri Lanka, considering challenges like grid instability?

GoodWe ensures product quality and support in Sri Lanka through rigorous testing and quality control measures, ensuring our inverters are reliable and durable. We have an after-sales service warehouse in Kerawalapitiya and a local Senior Service Engineer who collaborates with partners to quickly resolve any issues. Additionally, GoodWe transports replacement inverters to any part of the country at our own cost to minimize operational expenses and ensure minimal solar system downtime, even in the face of grid instability.
