OREDA Issues Tender for EPC Contractors Under PM-KUSUM Scheme

The Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has released a tender inviting Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors to participate in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) Component-A initiative. The project aims to establish decentralized grid-connected solar power plants on leased agricultural land across Odisha.

Project Highlights

🔹 Scope of Work: EPC contractors will be responsible for identifying landowners willing to lease land for solar projects, along with the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and 10 years of operations & maintenance (O&M).

🔹 Capacity Details: Each solar plant will have a capacity of 2 MW, with an initial cumulative installation target of 20 MW. OREDA reserves the right to modify this capacity.

🔹 Bidder Eligibility: Interested EPC firms must have prior experience in commissioning solar PV power plants with a minimum cumulative capacity of 5 MWp, including at least one operational project of 1 MWp or more.
