K2 Infragen Limited Secures 67.61 MWp Solar Project In Gujarat

K2 Infragen Limited, one of Indiaโ€™s fastest-growing players in the infrastructure and EPC sectors, has secured a significant solar EPC project in Gujarat. The contract involves the supply of Balance of System (BOS) material for a 67.61 Mega Watt DC solar project, which is part of a larger 450 MWp solar project being developed by Coal India Limited in Khavda, Gujarat. The contract was awarded by KPI Green Energy Limited.

This new project marks another milestone in K2 Infragen’s expansion, further solidifying its position in the power infrastructure sector. With this addition, the companyโ€™s total order book under execution now stands at an impressive INR 578.54 Crores, providing clear growth visibility.

Mr. Vineet Sharma, Vice President โ€“ Business Strategy & Corporate Affairs at K2 Infragen, said in a statement, โ€œThis order in Solar EPC space displays the potential and intent of the organization to operate at scale in all the domains of infrastructure. We have already mentioned earlier that K2 Infragen targets to be an aggressive player in Power Transmission & Distribution along with Renewable Energy verticals.โ€

He continued, โ€œWhile the scheduled completion is set for June/Julyโ€™ 25, we expect to complete the installation & commissioning of this project within H1 25-26. The company also continues to secure significant contracts of NHAI while diversifying into the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Railways sectors. We have developed in-house expertise across design, procurement, and construction supervision, delivering comprehensive EPC solutions spanning renewable energy, roads, railways, water supply, and civil construction.โ€

In parallel, K2 Infragen is actively engaged in discussions with large financial institutions to enhance its banking limits. This strategic move aims to support the smooth execution of ongoing projects and empower the company to pursue fresh opportunities across various infrastructure verticals, thereby broadening its project pipeline.
