In a strategic move to accelerate Thailandโ€™s clean energy transition, B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, a prominent clean energy leader, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with REPCO NEX, a subsidiary of SCG Chemicals Group (SCGC). The partnership aims to enhance the operational efficiency of combined heat and power plants and renewable energy facilities using digital solutions, while also spearheading the development of a 19.5-megawatt floating solar farm at the Amata City Industrial Estate in Chonburi.

The collaboration will deploy the โ€œDigital Reliability Service Solutions by REPCO NEXโ€ (DRS), a smart digital tool powered by AI and big data analytics, to optimize energy production processes and support B.Grimm Powerโ€™s โ€œInclusive Green Leapโ€ strategy. This initiative aligns with Thailandโ€™s national goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065.

Dr. Harald Link, CEO of B.Grimm Power, stated that the alliance marks a significant advancement in the companyโ€™s clean energy roadmap. โ€œThis cooperation with REPCO NEX enhances the performance of both our combined-cycle and renewable energy power plants through intelligent digital solutions, while also driving forward one of Thailandโ€™s largest floating solar farm projects,โ€ said Dr. Link. โ€œOur vision of โ€˜Empowering the World Compassionatelyโ€™ is rooted in expanding clean energy investment, developing smart energy systems, and promoting sustainable fuels like LNG.โ€
