The summit featured keynote addresses and engaging panels centered around three strategic pillars: boosting capital and investment flows in solar PV, enhancing collaboration between the government and industry, and improving the performance and operational efficiency of PV systems across their lifecycle.

Notable speakers included Shri Nabin Raj Singh, Director General of the Department of Electricity Development under Nepal’s Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, and Chandan Kumar Ghosh, former System Operation Director at the Nepal Electricity Authority. Both underscored the vital importance of solar PV in Nepal’s evolving energy landscape and the country’s strong interest in global partnerships and investment.

Shri Nabin Raj Singh emphasized Nepal’s proactive approach to advancing its clean energy agenda, identifying solar PV as a cornerstone of national energy security and climate action strategies. He also highlighted plans to refine policy environments to attract international investment and technical know-how.

Amid enduring challenges like power deficits, complex terrain, and underdeveloped grid systems, South Asia’s abundant solar potential stands out as a game-changing resource. JA Solar has been instrumental in supporting this shift by providing high-performance, durable PV modules tailored to the region’s unique conditions.
