Williams announced today that Larry Larsen has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective May 3, 2025. Larsen has been with Williams since 1999, beginning his career within the Northwest Pipeline franchise. He later served as Vice President of Central Services, where he managed key operational areas including supply chain, commodity services—such as volume management, systems planning, commodity optimization, and commercial contracts—as well as natural gas liquids (NGL) and gas marketing, measurement, and pipeline control. In 2018, he was appointed Vice President-General Manager for Williams’ Rocky Mountain Midstream franchise, where he was responsible for the commercial management and safe, reliable operations of the region’s expanding infrastructure.

Alan Armstrong, Williams President and CEO, said in a statement, “Larry’s deep understanding of Williams’ operations and natural gas focused strategy make him the ideal candidate for our next COO, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in leadership. He brings a depth of experience and knowledge that will allow us to continue optimizing our operations to enhance Williams’ competitive advantage and advance the execution of our long-term growth strategy.”

Since 2022, he has served as Senior Vice President of Gathering and Processing, overseeing Williams’ onshore G&P operations, along with its NGL transmission, storage, and fractionation businesses. Larsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
