The growth in earnings for Q1 2025 was driven by increased infrastructure investments and higher retail sales in Ameren Missouri, largely due to colder winter temperatures. However, these positives were partly offset by higher interest expenses at Ameren Parent and Ameren Missouri, as well as increased storm-related costs in the same regions. Additionally, the earnings per share comparison was impacted by a rise in weighted-average basic common shares outstanding. “Execution on all elements of our strategy, including significant investments in infrastructure in each of our business segments, continues to drive value for our customers. We remain on track to deliver within our 2025 earnings guidance range ofย $4.85ย toย $5.05ย per share,” saidย Martin J. Lyons, Jr., chairman, president and chief executive officer of Ameren Corporation.
