GoodWe Hosts Thai Deputy Prime Minister in Landmark Visit to Strengthen Clean Energy Cooperation

GoodWe, a leading global provider of solar and energy storage solutions, welcomed a high-level delegation from Thailand led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga at its global headquarters. The visit marked a significant step in strengthening clean energy ties between Thailand and China and aligns with Thailandโ€™s broader strategy to promote renewable energy and deepen industrial cooperation.

The Thai delegation was joined by Mr. Shi Yonghong, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME). The visit included a high-level meeting and an in-depth tour of GoodWeโ€™s Smart Energy Showroom.

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Pirapan commended GoodWeโ€™s remarkable journey, stating that he was impressed by the companyโ€™s progress over the past 15 years and was โ€œlooking forward to its achievements over the next 15 years.โ€

GoodWeโ€™s CEO Mr. Daniel Huang, Vice President Mr. Yingge Wang, and senior executives hosted the delegation and participated in discussions centered on Thailandโ€™s energy transition, trends in clean energy technologies, and future collaboration opportunities. Mr. Huang welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of the visit, describing it as โ€œan important milestone for GoodWe in fostering closer ties with Thailandโ€™s energy leadership.โ€

Since entering the Thai market in 2014, GoodWe has built a strong local presence through strategic partnerships with major distributors and established a dedicated service center in Bangkok. Its inverters and energy solutions are widely used across Thailandโ€™s residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) segments, contributing to several high-profile solar and storage installations.

During the discussions, Thai officials showed particular interest in GoodWeโ€™s foundational strength in the residential solar sector and its growing innovations in the C&I domain. They observed that while Thailand has primarily focused on C&I applications, the residential segment is gaining momentum, and GoodWeโ€™s comprehensive portfolio can support this shift effectively.

The delegation was also introduced to GoodWeโ€™s latest innovations at the Smart Energy Showroom, where the company demonstrated its integrated energy ecosystem that smartly connects power generation, grid interaction, load management, and energy storage. Thai officials noted a strong synergy between GoodWeโ€™s technological direction and Thailandโ€™s evolving energy strategy.
