By winning in two of Africa’s most competitive solar markets, Sungrow demonstrates its deep commitment to sustainability and innovation on the continent.

In South Africa, Sungrow made headlines with the supply of the country’s first wind-solar-storage integrated virtual power plant, incorporating a 264MWh PowerTitan liquid-cooled energy storage system. Additionally, it played a critical role in deploying a 150MW PV + 92MW/242MWh energy storage system (ESS) featuring 1+X modular inverters—projects aimed at enhancing grid stability and reducing load-shedding.
Sungrow also partnered with the SOLA Group to supply 256MW of utility-scale inverters for a standalone PV project, further solidifying its leadership in large-scale renewable deployments.
Beyond the utility sector, Sungrow has consistently demonstrated its capability across the commercial, industrial, and residential segments, delivering climate-resilient, high-efficiency systems that support widespread clean energy adoption.
