Envision Energy and SUN Terra Join Forces To Build Full-Chain Energy Storage Solution

Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, has announced a strategic partnership with SUN Terra, Indonesia’s leading renewable energy company, to strengthen collaboration on energy storage technologies and solutions across key markets including Southeast Asia, India, and Australia. This partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of advanced energy storage systems, improve global supply chains, and promote the localization of manufacturing and technical expertise to support the clean energy transition in these regions.

Kane Xu, Senior Vice President and President of International Product Lines at Envision Energy, said in a statement, “SUN Terra’s strong local presence and project development capabilities are highly complementary to Envision’s expertise in energy storage. Together, we will accelerate the growth of energy storage markets across Southeast Asia, India and Australia, delivering sustained momentum for enhancing local energy ecosystems.”

Under the agreement, Envision and SUN Terra will work together on several important areas such as procurement and distribution of energy storage systems, localized assembly and manufacturing, technology licensing, and the delivery of comprehensive solutions. Their goal is to build a wide-ranging strategic partnership that covers the entire value chain, enabling faster deployment and scaling of energy storage solutions in the targeted markets.

SUN Terra, a subsidiary of Sinar Mas—one of Indonesia’s most prominent conglomerates—focuses on end-to-end renewable energy development. The company has successfully completed large-scale solar projects in Indonesia, Australia, and India. In addition, SUN Terra provides integrated energy storage system solutions and battery lifecycle management services, playing an active role in advancing the energy transition in the local markets it serves.
