Tigo Energy, Inc., a provider of smart solar and energy software solutions, has announced its participation in the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2025, taking place from July 2 to 4 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand. At the event, Tigo will be sharing a booth with BayWa r.e. and will focus on supporting Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar installers as well as EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) professionals.
With new rapid shutdown requirements coming into effect, Tigo will emphasize the benefits of its solutions for projects in regions with high temperatures, humidity, and solar irradiance such as Southeast Asia. The company will showcase its TS4-X product line, which is designed to optimize performance, enhance safety, and simplify installation for high-wattage modules, including those used in bifacial solar systems. The TS4-X family allows for greater installation flexibility, reduces labor with its no-bolt, ground-wire-free design, and helps lower the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), particularly in large-scale solar applications. These devices are compatible with a broad range of third-party inverters, further easing design and installation for solar professionals.
Junrhey Castro, managing director at BayWa r.e. Solar Systems, โThailandโs rooftop solar market is growing rapidly and so is the demand for safer, smarter systems. As a regional distributor, weโre committed to supporting this growth with reliable solutions that protect both the performance and investment of our customers. Having Tigo in our product portfolio reflects our focus on quality and innovation for solar professionals across Thailand and Southeast Asia.โ
Jing Tian, chief growth and revenue officer at Tigo Energy, stated, โStrong collaboration between global companies like BayWa r.e. and Tigo is part of what makes the solar ecosystem work for more installers and EPCs around the world. As with many of the pro-solar nations in Asia, we believe that products like the TS4-X and programs like Green Glove make great strides in further driving LCOE down, and Total Quality Solar up, respectively. In regions with higher-than-normal irradiance values in particular, these dynamics benefit the entire industry, from equipment manufacturer to installer, and on to the operators and asset owners.โ
At the booth, Tigo will also be promoting its Green Glove service program specifically tailored for C&I installers. The program offers a premium support experience and includes structured engagement before, during, and after project installation to ensure quality, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall installer experience. Installers visiting the booth will be able to register directly for the program during the event.
