Pueblo de Oro Taps August Energy NetZero for Solar Rollout Across Developments

The renewable energy installations, comprising rooftop and ground-mounted solar panel systems, will be deployed at multiple sites including the Pueblo Golf clubhouse, The Hub commercial center, and Westwoods Village in Cagayan de Oro. In Malvar, Batangas, a system will be installed at the Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Sales Office.

“We believe sustainable development is not just about building homes, but also about fostering safe and resilient communities,” said Prim Nolido, President and COO of Pueblo de Oro. “This partnership with August Energy NetZero Inc. is a natural extension of our mission to integrate renewable energy into our operations and uplift the communities we serve.”

The latest rollout builds on PDO’s earlier solar initiatives at the Bag Drop Building of Pueblo Golf and Townsquare in Lapu-Lapu City. The company has also provided solar panel systems and solar-powered streetlights to barangays in Malvar and Batangas City.

August Energy NetZero, known for its expertise in solar power and energy efficiency, will serve as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner for the project.

The collaboration underscores PDO’s long-term goal of embedding sustainability into all its township developments, which are located in key growth areas including Cagayan de Oro, Malvar, Lipa, San Fernando, Carcar, and Lapu-Lapu City.

With this move, PDO continues to align its operations with renewable energy trends, reinforcing its reputation as a builder of master-planned, environmentally conscious communities.
