A high-level delegation from Poland, along with representatives from the JKSH Group, held discussions with Andhra Pradesh Mines, Geology, and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra regarding the establishment of a ₹35,000 crore green energy plant near the upcoming Machilipatnam port.

During the meeting, Minister Ravindra extended full support to the initiative, highlighting the strategic advantages of the port. He emphasized its excellent connectivity, robust infrastructure, and coastal location, making it a prime choice for industrial investment and renewable energy development.

The minister assured the delegation that the state government would facilitate land allotment near the port area to accelerate project implementation. He also underlined the potential socio-economic benefits of the venture, noting that the plant could create approximately 10,000 employment opportunities, significantly contributing to local job creation and regional economic growth.

The proposed green energy facility is expected to focus on the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, aligning with Andhra Pradesh’s larger vision to become a national hub for sustainable energy. The project’s proximity to the Machilipatnam port is seen as a logistical advantage for export and distribution.
